On the David Shearer Show this week I speak to Pennie Blair, the Operations Manager at Student Radio Station 95bfm. Bfm (known then as Radio B) was founded in the late sixties as part of a university capping stunt and has evolved over the years. Today it is a permanent 24-hour station broadcasting out of the student union building at Auckland University, strongly supporting NZ music, and supported by a mixture of paid and volunteer staff.
I talk to Pennie Blair about bFM’s colourful history and the vibrant NZ music scene she’s passionate about.
